Cool to see you posted about this. Top-monitor mounted Web cams suck for this, but are the photos you took on the PC or the Mac? I find with my Mac it’s pretty decent. But I need to be a couple feet away from the monitor. It’s then more like a teleprompter. If you watch the news guys you can tell they’re not looking right at the camera, but just off to the side.. same deal.

So if distance is a factor, perhaps rather than installing mirrors on our computers (or lugging them out and attaching them for every VOIP call) we can all just start video conferencing on 52″ LCD TVs from our sofas.

I love the idea of a two-way monitor that can “send and receive” as it were… but it sorta freaks me out too.
