This afternoon, after an exciting day of learning about international-mindedness in education, Gin and I stopped for dinner at the teeny-bopper mecca known as the shopping mall food court. We were lucky enough to find a table which I sat at while Gin rustled up some grub. The patrons beside us left, and left behind a small strawberry yogurt puddle. Busy as it was soon a young, kind-looking couple came to occupy the table, but upon realizing that there was an unsolicited gift they made to find cleaner pastures. I had a tissue on the table, and so I casually reached over and cleaned up the mess. How did they respond? The man looked at me, smiled, and said: ‘You’re not from Toronto are you?’

Interesting. I have to ask, tho, is this an actual factual story? or a ploy to see who or anyone responds? Pretty cool story, either way.
PS…. now that I have come home, absolutely rung out from another day of 2 RNs where there should be 6, I turn on this new machine, (gifted to me by my gifted descendants) and in less time than it takes me to forget why I turned the machine on, or even that I did turn it on, there is an email from aforementioned – wow. thanks for this. I have heard horror stories of snow in Ottawa, so I hope you are not in that much. If you are, Inka will need a bike flag attached to her tail. Then I will see her boinging on the 11 o’clock news! Love and Light, and thanks for the note, mom/mil
Funny story. People, what can do? I hope you guys are having a great time where ever you are.
Ya, completely true story.
Thanks for the comments. Janet, I’ll try to get better at leaving some sort of sign that I’ve read your blog. I know how nice it is to see a comment (like this one), so I’ll try to do it for you too!
